4 survive Plane crash in Western Province
Four people including the Pilot survived with minor injuries in a plane crash that occurred in Mulobezi District of Western Province.
The Pilot identified as Krestah Muchindo Hanongo aged 43 of Livingstone with three other passengers identified as Andries Stephanie Du Plesis aged 54, his Son Staphan Du Plesis aged 26 and Victor Boshoff aged 54 crashed shortly after taking off from Mulobezi Airstrip on February 27, 2022 at around 13:39 hours.
Initial investigations revealed that the aeroplane bearing registration number 9JRDN crashed as a result of suspected engine failure.
