STOP UNDERMINING ELECTED STRUCTURES – PRESIDENT LUNGU URGES THE MOBILISATION COMMITTEE

_…as the President threatens to dissolve the Mobilisation Committee if the trend of not working with Structures continues…_

Patriotic Front Party leader who is also Republican President His Excellency Edgar Chagwa Lungu has urged some people on the Copperbelt to give the Nathan Chanda and his Executive time and space to work.

The head of State reminded everyone that MCC Chanda is the elected Provincial Chairman for Copperbelt and as such he needs to be respected and supported by all including those who once aspired to be Chairmen or Chairperson.

“To those of you who are have been appointed in the mobilization Committee, you must respect the Party Structures and work with them or else l will dissolve mobilization committee because Mobilization is not about individuals but the party,” President Lungu warned.

“We are getting reports in Lusaka about the confusion between the Mobilization Committee and the Structures on the Copperbelt.

To the Party structures welcome and embrace new comers, teach them what PF is all about, as a pro poor party, because politics is about numbers.

Be like the Church that welcomes everyone and the President also advised those who are been welcomed to reform and humble themselves to work with everyone in the party in harmony.

Do not say this one was MMD or was UPND. Let us emulate Mr Sata, MHSRIEP, who embraced everyone.

If you want to be a good leader, be ready to be led.

The party President warned those who are fighting sitting PF members of Parliament in his name or the name the SG to stop it.

He said adoption time is coming and your works will speak for you. Just work hard and don’t fight each other.

Today PF is the party of Choice and everyone wants to stand on its ticket,” said Dr. Lungu.

The Republican President said this when he addressed the party members and residents of Kafulafuta, in Masaiti District.

President Lungu is on a three day working visit on the Copperbelt in Ndola Rural.
