HH CALLS FOR PEACE AND SECURITY
President Hakainde Hichilema has called for continued support to multilateral efforts in the maintenance of international peace and security.
President Hichilema says it has become imperative now, more than ever, to collaborate in addressing the numerous threats.
He says there is a need to develop a more effective and inclusive multilateral framework to address global challenges in a changing world.
President Hichilema said this in a statement delivered on his behalf by Foreign Affairs Minister Mulambo Haimbe at the Summit of the Future to the UN General Assembly in New York.
The President noted that World is faced with multiple intersecting crises that threaten the attainment of SDGs and maintenance of international peace and security.
This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News by Zambia’s First Secretary Press and Public Relations at the Permanent Mission to the United Nations Namatama Njekwa.
