A word of encouragement from PS Thabo Kawana…
A word of encouragement to all kidney patients (warriors). Do not let kidney failure take away your life and livelihood, snap out of self pity and seeking sympathy. Go out there, put in your best, do your job, carry your hustle and after knocking off and it’s your due day for dialysis, go on the machine. Rest and plan for tomorrow, for me it’s to strictly follow President HH’s advice “work, hard work and more hard work”
We are done with the burial of our dear departed brothers, the Kambwili brothers and straight onto the machine to recharge in readiness for the next day and continue to put in more hard work. No time for self pity and sympathy seeking. Renal failure is but just a condition, learn to live with and around it as we have done.
May the souls of our dear departed brothers rest in eternal peace
This is more about yourself than encouraging others. Why should you bring in the president?
Mr. Kawana seems a little bit excited for some reason. As PS for the Ministry of Information, you don’t have to say something everyday.
Dont politicise illness. Cant you just give us a word of encouragement without HH somewhere inside it?
Just because you have free and easy access to the dialysis machine anytime of the day you think others are also that lucky. There are hundreds of people still waiting for their chance to be on that machine.
