About the Acting Registrar Resignation
Yesterday, our legal team served Contempt of Court documents on the Registrar of Societies to address non-compliance with a lawful court order. Today, we learned that the Registrar has resigned from her position.
As she is a lawyer, we presumes she understands the implications of disobeying Court Orders either herself or whoever may have done so while she was on leave by changing PF office bearers as was exhibited by Chabinga & Ngona who are the other 2 cited for various contempts of Court. It’s against the Court Stay Order to temper with records of the PF leadership at the Registrar of Societies while the matter is still active in court being heard and awaits adjudication.
This development raises important questions about institutional accountability and adherence to the rule of law. Our team is consulting to ensure that justice prevails and that court orders are respected, regardless of changes in officeholders.
This matter underscores the importance of ensuring that public offices and institutions operate within the confines of the law. We remain committed to this principle. In the end no person, persons or any institution be it a Ministry is allowed by the Constituion of Zambia to disrespect the Courts.

What do you expect she was caught between a rock and a hard place. She was condemned either way so rather than spoil your health with all that stress it’s better to resign.
Iam a novice in law. Tell me something. If you are sued and you resign do you escape punishment? Is it your office or you as a person who is in the dock?
Am sure she will reveal who did. Resignation means a lot
Sampa also did wrong in the first place…the happenings in pf seem to emulate jungle life
