ACTIVIST URGES PRESIDENT HICHILEMA AND EDGAR LUNGU TO USE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER FOR DIALOGUE

Mazabuka-based activist, Kenneth Hanchai, has called on President Hakainde Hichilema and his predecessor, Edgar Lungu, to use the National Day of Prayers, Fasting, Repentance, and Reconciliation as an opportunity for dialogue.

Hanchai told Byta FM News that with 18th October reserved for prayers, the two leaders should use the day as a turning point in their strained relationship for the sake of national unity and healing.

He encouraged all political parties to observe and attend the event to foster reconciliation.

Another Mazabuka resident, Andrew Haakaloba, urged political parties not to politicize the National Day of Prayer but to use the occasion for genuine reflection and unity.
