ADVISE TO THOSE CLOSE TO ARCHBISHOP ALICK BANDA
=============
Clearly the state has a solid case, on how the ZRA vehicle came into the hands of the Archbishop. So the most likely outcome would be a guilty verdict. This is a case likely to be fast tracked.
My advice to those close to him, those he listens to, is to tell him to quickly raise the white flag. This is an oncoming train at full speed, while someone is stuck on the rails.
The antagonistic nature and open fight with GRZ will not end well. I understand an open hand had long been extended to resolve the matter otherwise. He however, has chosen an open war. The faithfuls have started to distance themselves, from this case and do not show open support anymore.
Now imagine a guilty verdict, what option will the Vatican be left with? Let him wave a white flag and cease fire, before it’s too late. That’s my advice.
