AIRUMI NEW ENERGY SET TO OPEN A 600 MILLION US DOLLAR PLANT IN ZAMBIA
AIRUMI New Energy, a company based in China is set to open an assembly plant in Zambia.
Once operational, the plant that will be based in Central province Chibombo, at the Jiagxi Multi facility economic zone will create about 3,000 employment opportunities for Zambians producing solar panels and EV car batteries.
Zambia Chinese Association executive president Wu Ming explains that the company is an internationalized new high-tech enterprise focusing on integrating and applying new energy, and is committed to the R&D and manufacturing of new energy, clean energy, and power technology.
To this end, Ming says the company aspires to provide global customers with efficient, environmentally friendly, and stable power system solutions, struggling to promote the green transformation of the world’s energy structure.
Ming says the company which is soon to be launched comes at the right time when Zambia is facing a serious energy crisis that has seen unprecedented load shedding hours across the country.
With a total investment of up to 600 Million US dollars, Ming says the project focuses on the production of diversified power supply products and solutions, with excellent performance, high stability, and reliable security, which can adapt to complex environments and meet the needs of different application scenarios.
“Airumi New Energy firmly believes that clean energy is an inevitable future development trend. Relying on the world’s cutting-edge clean energy technology, combined with the huge market demand in African countries, the company actively promotes the energy revolution, industrialization processes, and social development in the southern region of Africa and even the entire African region and contributes to the construction of a sustainable green future for the world,” Ming said.
Meanwhile, Ming said the Airumi New Energy will continuously lead and facilitate the innovation and development of global clean energy technology, and make unremitting efforts to build a better future.
