ALJOSA PROMISES CHIPOLOPOLO WILL LIFT AFCON UNDER HIS REIGN
CHIPOLOPOLO Coach Aljosa Asanovic says he will ensure that Zambia lifts the Africa Cup of Nations- AFCON- title under his reign.
Asanovic says with the country yesterday clocking a decade since it last won the AFCON title in 2012 after beating Ivory coast 8-7 on post match penalities, his techincal staff is doing it’s best to put the country back in the winning track.
The Croatian national says with so many years having gone by since Zambia last tested victory at the continent’s biggest showpiece, he is here to win the title .
He has told ZNBC Sports News in an interview that getting Zambia to the 2023 AFCON tournament and winning the title is top on his team’s agenda.
