ALLOW VISITORS TO SEE MY HUSBAND KAMBWILI, MRS. CAROL KAMBWILI DEMANDS

Mrs. Carol KAMBWILI has demanded from Maina Soko Medical Centre authorities to allow Hon. Chishimba Kambwili’s friends and fellow leaders to see him.

Maina Soko Medical Centre says it has serious instructions from Government not to allow people to visit Hon. Kambwili who is being treated there following a fatal accident that occurred in Luwingu District in Northern Province.

Various senior leaders from the Patriotic Front have been refused access to the hospital stating that they were advised to come with a letter from the Permanent Secretary of Defence Norman Chipakupa.

Former Minister of Copperbelt Province, Jaohen Mwakalombe who was among many leaders that have been stopped from seeing Hon. Kambwili expressed disappointed with Government.

  1. I don’t know why the wife to hon. CK would make such a statement. From what I know, she is a nurse and I believe she knows it’s not a good idea to allow too many people to see the husband whilst he is very sick and this is a normal practice for any patient especially those who seriously sick. I believe this is done to void the sick from contracting deseases from the visitors as the immunity of the sick is quite weak but now she wants to go against normal medical practice and for what really? Doesn’t she realize that she will putting the life of the husband at risk if too many people are allowed to see him whilst he still in critical condition?

  2. Madam Kambwili don’t bring pf politics in your husband’s unfortunate situation. Am certain every medical institution has rules on visitation. You can’t honestly expect a pf rally in the hospital? How do you have more than twenty pf cadres wanting to be allowed visitation at the same time?

Be focused on your husband’s recovery please!!

  3. Maybe the family should be allowed to take Mr. Kambwili to a medical facility of their choice where he can be visited by a horde of characters if the medical people don’t mind.

Personally, I think he needs some space to recover from the trauma of the accident and the loss of his two siblings. People zooming in and out of his ward is not good for him and even his neighbour patients. I would think that at this time, he needs a lot of rest.
