When a person is summoned by law enforcement to attend at their office, only lawyers representing that person are allowed to be present. Not even any other lawyers not concerned with the case. So, Fred M’membe cannot claim to be a lawyer in that video, he was accompanying the Archbishop as a politician. At any event, he has never appeared in Court to represent anyone. Even himself is represented by a lawyer whenever he appears in Court over his cases.
The law of abuse of office was written for this same reason. Ba some of us thinking that who they are is licence to abuse.
LAZ have standards abd censure your members. They are bringing your profession to disrepute.
Only a smart individual could manage to assimilate all these qualifications and stay norma and succeessfull.Membe has grown dull and very old losing everything in the process, inlcuding his self-respect
Impressive intellectual capacity. Well done. One question. Does all these qualifications make one a good leader or a great manager?
As a leader who has expressed interest in the highest office in the land which is Presidency , is it wise to expose himself in a case that is deeply rooted in illegal processes?
A good leader needs to shield themselves against certain issues that compromise their positions. There is less of political intelligence being seen as the interpretation of how the voters see the issues unfolding is off key.
What we private citizens see from the outside is a group of friends trying cover up the wrong doings of their friend. What does a private transaction of an illegal ownership of a car have to do with the ambitious interest of ruling this great nation.
There is intellectual intelligence for sure , but common sense to lead as a selfless leader who speaks for the people is lacking.
As Zambians we are concerned with this type of politically motivated theft and abrogation of proper regulations and management of public property. On the other hand he is in support of this very wrong transaction with illegality surrounding it.
A fair question to as is how will he manage the government regulations and management of properties if he can not defend this one on our behalf. This is an eye opener of character of most those advocating for such wrongs. if I am wrong I await a sensible explanation concerning this issue. May e their political experts can try to explain the rationale of this siding with a wrong.
Otherwise tell us colleagues, what logical explanation do you have for having the property in the name of the Bishop? Remember, the ones purported to have bought this Vehicles are on oath in court to have denied even being informed about this transaction. From a legal perspective as a qualified lawyer this should have distanced this man a bit and maybe limited to offer moral support from a distance.
In short if this would happen under their watch, they would allow it. Imagine allowing an illegality. Can you trust such a candidate.
My opinion is that these people are de- campaigning themselves and allowing the opponent free passage. I mean honestly would you truly trust a leader who protects a wrong doer against us the people. These are our asset. where will such behavior stop. This is a serious eye opener and a tragic mistake by the opposition.
For one to be a successful leader, you don’t need a string of qualifications. What you need is emotional intelligence, the ability to understand people’s emotions and on then appropriately.
Some of the worst leaders are professors in their fields but when it comes to people management, they failed miserably.
True leaders inspire people. They bring out the best in those they lead.
You might be a loya but not his loya so you can’t be allowed inside. Only sangwa is his true loya therefore he was allowed to accompany him.
