ARAGHCHI ASKS JORDAN HOW LONG IRAN MUST WAIT TO RESPOND
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has challenged his Jordanian counterpart over comments about Iran’s retaliatory strikes.
Ayman Safadi claimed that Iran attacked Jordan and other countries just two hours after the US war began. He argued the strikes could not be considered a response.
Araghchi is not buying it.
How long does the Jordanian foreign minister think Iran should wait before responding to an aggressor who does not respect the sovereignty of Arab states or Iran’s sovereignty.
He reminded Safadi that Arab airspace, territory and waters were used in the initial US attacks that killed innocent Iranians.
Safadi condemned the Iranian strikes as aggression, not retaliation. He claims Iran attacked too quickly.
But Jordan is now paying the price for hosting US bases. Arab territory was used to attack Iran. Now Iran is striking back.
The US uses your airspace to bomb another country. Do you really expect not to get hit back.
