ARREST PAPA’S BEFORE THEY ENTER OUR BEDROOMS – MP
Roan Member of Parliament Joel Chibuye is urging the Zambian government to strengthen registration of churches.
Mr Chibuye said this on Friday morning during the Vice President’s Time in parliament.
The 54-year-old politician also made reference to a video that gone viral of a man who was caught pants down with another man’s woman alleged to be pregnant.
“Is the new dawn government not thinking of strengthening some of the rules for registration of some of these churches so that these Papas can be arrested before they started entering our bedrooms whilst we are here?” Mr Chibuye asked Vice President Mutale Nalumango.
“This might sound very simple but we have witnessed a lot of moral decay coming from the so-called Papas who even when they are preaching, the people seriously saying ‘dig deeper Papa'”, he added.
But Mrs Nalumango said it’s difficult to regulate morality while agreeing laws can be made:
“I think registration may not resolve the matter, what should resolve the matter is to see the culprit and bring them to book when they misbehave like that.”
“Let us be on the lookout as society, society itself has a problem because you can’t go to pray and you go into the bedroom. What kind of prayer is that?
There’s something wrong with the person who has also agreed to do that because there no such a prayer. Which Bible verse are they using?”
