CDF UNBUNDLED
The CDF increase from which ever point you look at it will spur economic activities in the constituencies and will not only help realise visible development but will create wealth for our people in the constituencies.
Here is How:
1.25% of the CDF annually will go towards the empowerement of women and youths on top of the programs that will be run by the ministry of sports and community development. Now the K6, 425,000 will be obvious not as been the case where faces and relations have been the qualification for the youths and women to be considered for empowerement programs.
2.The projects that will be done in the constituencies using the CDF will be given to companies within the constituencies meaning that the money will still be retained in the constituencies through the little profits the said companies will make. Provided these businesses don’t exaggerate their pricing and guranteea us of quality works then we are good to go.
3.There will be a whole lot of developmental activities which will eventually create employment opportunities to the youths and women in the constituencies.Again employment will be given to the residents of each constituency unless we need extra skills.
4.As proposed in the budget a component of the CDF will go toward skills development and in the end we will have skilled man power to rely on to handle all these developmental activities.
