I hope Mrs. Mumbi Phiri pushes this to the limit. It is about time police were held accountable in their individual capacity for this abuse of power. It has gone on for too long and it is time we made a clean break from this despicable practice of extra judicial punishment.

Does this Mumbi Phiri and her lawyer expect the UN envoy to be a support witness to their case of of threatening violence? The UN envoy has her specific terms of reference and will decide who to meet within the available period of her mission. If all sorts of partisan characters are going to invade the UN premises to meet the UN envoy, how do you expect the envoy to independently do her work|??. The fact that this Mumbi Phiri and her lawyer are able to voice their concerns even to a wrong person shows there is freedom of expression and opinion in Zambia. So if the UN envoy has time to meet this Mumbi Phirie and her lawyer, then let the envoy meet them. However the envoy should also be prepared to meet other people with opposing opinion.
