BRIAN MUNDUBILE, MAKEBI ZULU’S CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS VIOLATION PETITION SCHEDULED FOR HEARING

JAILED Opposition figures Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu, along with 16 others, are set to have their constitutional rights violation petition heard from October 26 to November 6, 2026.

The petition, filed by their lawyers against the State, alleges violations of their constitutional rights arising from their prolonged detention without being brought before a court for plea and trial in connection with treason charges.

Mundubile and Zulu have reportedly been detained at Mukobeko Maximum Prison for 42 days without appearing in court.

The matter will be heard by a three-judge High Court panel.
