CAN YOU SPOT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE TWO PICTURES?
In one picture is former President Edgar Lungu meeting the Chinese President and his team.
In the other picture is President Hakainde Hichilema meeting the Eurobond Lenders in London.
Three distinctions here ;
1: Lungu’s group were not taking notes, no pen and paper on the Zambian side of the table, but look at the Chinese, they came well prepared.
On the other hand, Look at HH’s team, they were busy writing and documenting the discussions, they look active and engaged as opposed to Lungu’s team who were only there to hear what they were being told.
2: Look at the size of the delegations, Lungu took over half the cabinet while HH carried a small lean team, only those necessary for the topic at hand.
3: The Lungu meeting with China was to borrow billions of dollars which has left Zambia in debt.
On the other hand the HH meeting is to resolve the debt crisis created by the PF.
What other differences do you see?
