By Evans Liyali
Some shortlisted applicants who sat for aptitude tests with the hope of been recruited as Census Enumerators have questioned the criteria used to recruit those selected.
The irate applicants who were not picked accused the coordinators of segregating and picking people who failed the tests.
Christine Miselo tells Byta FM News that despite her obtaining 80 percent, she has not been picked, noting that some candidates who got 40 Percent and below have been selected.
And Emmanuel Likumbi who was also left out, has appealed to government investigate the recruitment of enumerators for census.
He alleges that the selection process was not on merit, saying that only people with connections have been picked.
Efforts to a comment from Mazabuka District Commissioner, Oliver Mulomba failed by press time as his mobile phone went answered on several occasions.
