CHABINGA OBTAINS INJUNCTION AGAINST PF GENERAL CONFERENCE
…matter comes up on 3rd December 2025 for Inter-Parte hearing…
Robert Chabinga has been granted a court injunction to restrain the Patriotic Front from holding its General Conference scheduled for the month-end of November 2025.
Chabinga, who shopped for a court forum in Kabwe, has been granted a restraining order aginst Patriotic Front Acting Secretary General, Brenda Nyirenda-Chisopa.
Justice Kelvin Hancubwili Limbani, Judge-in- Charge in Kabwe granted the order.
“IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the application for an Order of injunction to compel the Defendant by himself, his servants, agents, employees or whomsoever to- immediately cease and desist from occupying the Patriotic Front Party Secretariat, use of the Patriotic Front Party materials including issuance of party receipts and use of letterheads, holding meetings, press conferences and media briefings in the name of the Patriotic Front Party, purporting or holding out as leaders of the Patriotic Front Party and announcing the road map of the elective convention of the Patriotic Front Party until the Court’s determination the matter.”
The Kabwe Judge has directed that the Inter-Parte hearing will take place on 3rd December 2025.
The Patriotic Front has announced that it will hold a general conference to elect a party leader and members of the Central Committee.
So far, Zambian businessma based in South Africa, Joseph Willa Mudolo, Lusaka lawyer, Makebi Zulu, PF Acting President Given Lubinda and Luapula MP, Chanda Katotobwe have paid the K200,000 Expression of Interest fee and joined the race.
Others in the race who met the requirements are; former Diplomat, Amb. Emmanuel Mwamba, Mporokoso MP, Brian Mundubile, Lunte MP, Mutotwe Kafwaya, former Ministers; Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, Greyford Monde and Chishimba Kambwili, businessman Goodward Mulubwa and Matero MP, Miles Bwalya Sampa have been in the race since 2023.
This case won’t be resolved in Courts in Hakainde’s Zambia.
This is a Political Issue…and it requires a political Solution.
The Patriotic Front should go ahead and have the General Conference on 29th November, 2025.
They should continue using the Party Secretariat,
and all the Structures should do like wise.
The Politics of Exclusion should not be allowed in Zambia.
We are a multi party democracy and should
function as such.
If someone wants to compete against himself, let him go to Tanzania.

He who holds the cards like it or not calls the shots. This time around what was done in the past to change the hands of leadership can not be wished away or angrily discarded.
Here the law will follow the paper work. Let us see what alternative plan exist to counter this move. This confusion is really self induced.
The lawless factions can not stomach the legally documented PF under the leadership of Chawinga.
They think they are above the law.
This is their major self inflicted undoing.

What is Chabinga up to? Seems to be a disruptive with no development agenda. Such barbarians would not be tolerated in a civilised democracy.

The REASON MILES SAMPA is quiet and CONFUSED this time he WOULD HAVE BEEN A PRESIDENT FOR PF waiting to take over GOVERNMENT IN 2031. As we talk PF doesn’t even have a CANDIDATE FOR 2031 who is supposed to be tested in 2026
PF has arrogant fools, they know the law very well but they want to do things outside the law. Chabinga go ahead sir teach your members manners. In the process they will foolishly blame UPND but it’s okay go ahead and teach them pls. When it is too late they will blame ECZ and HH like always.
It was just a matter of time that this was going to happen, and it has come to pass what we were saying. That the Given Lubinda led PF faction had no locus- standi and even joining the Tonse Alliance was futile.
When Courts become Political Players, trying to entrench a Dictatorship, they should be treated as such and , be ignored.
They become nothing but empty noise.
There comes a time when people say that enough is enough.
Compromised Institutions are a danger to a Democracy, and to Peace in a Country.
This is how Nations fail.
If this government is left to it’s whims , Zambia is enroute to a failed state.
My appeal to the Patriotic Front is to soldier on, wear the Party Regalia, use the PF documents, and the Secretariat, and all offices through out the Country. Continue with Party Activities.
And come 29th November, 2025 , Hold the General Conference.

The Axis is falling on 13th August, 2026.
This is the problem with PF. They consider themselves as being above the law. As far as they are concerned, the law applies to lesser mortals.
When the late former president, Mr. Lungu was legally disqualified from contesting the 2026 elections by the highest court in the land, the Constitutinal Court, Mr. Lubinda and his PF insisted Mr. Lungu would be on the ballot. Even Mr. Lungu maintained the same stance.
Mr. Chabinga is the legally recognised leader of PF but the Lubinda faction was still adamant they were having a convention as PF. This is despite having lawyers as presidential candidates.
If they are surprised by Mr. Chabinga’s move, then they must be ………
Just like they failed to resolve the leadership crisis after Mr. Lungu’s resignation from active politics in 2021, they have failed to sort out the factions issue. Meanwhile time is ticking away. True leadership is seen in a crisis.
This tells the lawlessness of PF. They have lawyers but law to them is nothing. I remember how police men were being beaten even in their own offices, courts were stage managed, people beaten and killed but no arrest. Given the freedom under HH they think they still hold the power to continue being lawless. Sampa is now drinking his own medicine. Just abide by the order and deal with the court issues before settling for a candidate
