CHANGALA’S APPLICATION TO SUMMON HH DISMISSED

LUSAKA chief resident magistrate Davies Chibwili has dismissed governance activist Brebner Changala’s application for him to summon President Hakainde Hichilema and over 30 other witnesses.

Changala, who is charged with seditious practices, asked for a green light to subpoena Mr Hichilema, Vice-President Mutale Nalumango and others to aid his defence.

The accused wanted over 30 witnesses to appear in court to help testify in his favour.

But magistrate Chibwili dismissed the application because Changala did not specify or describe the evidence which the witnesses were to refer to when in court.

  1. Bitterness an indication of evil works. We are praying for our president today.
No evil plans shall prosper. Before your evil plans will start, we crash them in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
