Charly Musonda ‘on trial with relegation battlers’ after ten-year spell at Chelsea comes to an end

CHARLY MUSONDA will look to start his post-Chelsea career with a trial at Belgian Pro League side Zulte Waregem according to reports.

Musonda saw his deal at Celtic Park terminated and returned to parent club Chelsea – who he has now left on a free after ten years. And according to Belgian publication HLN – he will spend the next two weeks on trial trying to win a contract with relegation strugglers Waregem.

Former Belgian under-21 international Musonda also had loans with Real Betis and Vitesse during his time at Stamford Bridge.

The winger joined back in 2012 as highly rated 16-year-old coming out of the Anderlecht academy. But after injury spoiled the latest of his temporary moves he now looks to be trying to rebuild his career with a move back home to Belgium.
