CHINA SENT IRAN AROUND 1,300 SHIPMENTS OF DUAL-USE COMPONENTS WSJ
According to The Wall Street Journal, Chinese entities sent Iran around 1,300 shipments of dual-use components during the first half of 2026, based on an analysis of Iranian customs records.
The shipments reportedly included electronic components and other parts that can be used in drones and missile guidance systems. The records show that the shipments were sent to Iran’s Ministry of Defense.
However, the records alone do not establish that every component was ultimately incorporated into a weapon.
China says it controls exports of such products and denies supplying weapons to Iran.
The report comes as Chinese President Xi Jinping visits Washington, with Beijing’s relationship with Tehran among the issues affecting discussions with U.S. President Donald Trump.
