Chirundu Police counsel brother, sister engaged in sexual affair
OFFICERS from Chirundu Police Station Victim Support Unit (VSU) spent most of last Wednesday counselling a brother and sister who have escalated their familial bond to a sexual affair.
The two, a 21 year male and his 18 year old sister had been caught red-handed trying out different baby-making positions by their parents who then took them to the police.
According to sources close to the incident, the sexual affair between the two siblings has been going on for some time now.
Ordinarily, the two siblings should have been arrested and charged for incest but resorted to only counselling them after being told they were step brother and sister who got to know each after their parents married recently.
Living under one roof, the two whose names have been withheld by police are madly in love and use their time alone when parents are away for romance.
Zambia Police assistant public relations officer Godfrey Chilabi confirmed the incident to Kalemba
Chilabi said after it was discovered that the two young lovers were not blood related, the police could only counsel them and later release them as it was not Incest.
