CONGRATULATIONS TO FRED M’MEMBE AND SOCIALIST PARTY, BUT I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH PF, FOR UPND, I SAY WELL DONE
================
I hope my personal feelings, of missing my wife and Kiya will not get me down, such that I fail to go live at 20:00hrs. These days, it is very difficult for me to talk at 20:00hrs because that is the time when I am usually alone in the house and miss my family.

However, for now, let me pass my big congratulations to my elder brother whom I have loved from the time I was a youth, reading his articles (in The Post) and arguing with him at times, Dr. Fred M’membe.

Socialist Party has given birth to their first born in Governance, at the local level, by winning Kapanda ward in Lukashya Constituency of Kasama District.

Ronald Mulenga was their candidate and he poured 890 votes beating Moses Mambwe of UPND who got 578 votes while PF, with Amos Chishala, was trailing third with 335.

In other ward by-elections, UPND scooped Kashikishi Ward of Chimbamilonga Constituency in Nchelenge District. PF was second and Socialist third.

PF managed to grab Itala ward in Luapula Constituency of Lunga district. UPND was second.

In Nyatanda ward in Chavuma constituency of Chavuma district, I don’t have the results but I know the PF candidate was bought off by UPND.

For me, the victory goes to Socialist, because they have shown their presence and resilience, this is very good.

For PF, they should have won all these by-elections but these leadership issues and lack of resources is affecting them and if they are not careful, they will go into extinction.

For UPND, whatever methods or strategies you are using, it is working, WELL DONE, because while the some opposition will accuse you of whatever, you are increasing your leadership prowess in winning or at least become second.

Honestly speaking, it is useless to accuse the ruling party of abrogating election rules when they win (remember I used to say the same when PF was in power), why can’t the opposition do the same and win.

Electoral malpractice don’t favor the ruling party, if indeed the opposition is strong, electorates defy electoral manipulation if they are against the party.

Therefore, PF, this is a wake up call otherwise we may have another 10 years of UPND. If I will be fine at 20:00hrs I will go in details on this issue, otherwise chankalipa, PF should have done better.

But still more:
