COPPERBELT PF CHAIRMAN RESIGNS FROM PARTY

By Josphat Hamakala

Patriotic Front Copperbelt Provincial Chairman Stardy Mwale has resigned from his position and left the party, citing disagreements over the handling of Members of Parliament from his province.

Mr Stardy, who has been a party member since 2001 and served on the Central Committee, announced his resignation this morning, stating he cannot support the expulsion of MPs without provincial consultation.

The outgoing chairman says the expulsions were carried out without following the party constitution, which requires members to be given an opportunity to respond to allegations before disciplinary action is taken.

Mr Stardy has also criticised what he describes as Central Committee decisions being made without full consultation, with party officials learning about them through the media.

He has extended an invitation to the suspended and expelled MPs to meet with him to discuss their next course of action, saying he will reflect with his family before announcing his way forward in the coming days.

  1. Good Riddance.
Hon Given Lubinda, and the Central Committee, ensure that a replacement is put in place immediately.
Discipline is required in the Patriotic Front.
Let him go with his hopeless Rebels who voted for the illegitimate and unconstitutional Bill 7..who voted without seeing the delimitation report… without demanding to know how the 55 additional Constituency based Parliamentary seats are distributed in Zambia..
Which sane Member of Parliament can vote for unknown variables?
Only an I@IOT can do that.
Let us also identify the people to replace
the unprincipled scoundrels who have betrayed the people of Zambia.
    Begone Betrayers.

    • Ati without demanding to know how the 55 additional Constituency based Parliamentary seats are distributed in Zambia..
Mob psychology made you not read and understand. That has already been explained about how the 50 seats will be shared. Ask before embarrassing yourself like Kasonde Mwenda.
By the way, whether you like it or not or even go on hunger strike, Bill 7 is the law. So stop stressing yourself.

  2. They will all join UPND. That is the current gravy train. Everyone now wants a ka 3 million Kwacha, not knowing that this money is tax payer’s money, if the rumours of the bribes are true. This is the reason Zambia will remain poor, while politicians are becoming extremely wealthy.

    REJECT TRIBALISM, CORRUPTION AND OPPRESSION.

    VOTE FOR CHANGE IN 2026.

  3. Which PF are you resigning from? Chabinga’s or Lubinda’s? Actually when you think about it, there is only one PF- Chabinga Faction PF is the one that has MPs. The only person who should resign is Mundubile.
