COSMO TIPS KANGANJA OVER ELECTIONS
…put your foot down do your job, don’t fear anyone regardless of political affiliation

National Restoration Party (NRP) president Dr. Cosmo Mumba has asked the Inspector General of Police Mr. Kakoma Kanganja to make sure that this year’s campaigns and general elections are peaceful.
Dr. Mumba was speaking this morning at a media briefing in Lusaka where he expressed concern over the continued attacks by cadres to fellow cadres which is worrying.
He noted that the police need to put their foot down and do their job without fear or favour, regardless of ones political affiliation.
“I am aware of a scheme by the opposition political parties to provoc the police so that the police shoot them and then they use the same as a campaign tactic to paint the police and President Lungu bad,” he disclosed.
On Prof. Nkandu Luo’s appointment, Dr. Mumba said she is qualified to be the running mate to President Dr. Edgar Lungu and that people should respect and support her.
He disclosed that Prof. Luo has a wealth of political experience as she has served in different ministerial positions and was the first female professor in the Zambia.
Dr. Mumba disclosed that those speaking ill of Prof. Luo’s adoption to be running mate to the President, are committing an assault to professionalim.
He has since withdrawn from this years presidential race and have since endorsed the candidature of President Lungu in this year’s elections.
