The three properties that were purchased at US$50, 000 are among the seven properties owned by Malanji in Silverest Gardens.

According to to DEC top investigator, Kwaleyela Mukelabai, Malanji paid for the three houses after returning from Turkey, where he had travelled to collect the US$5 million released by the ministry of finance for the purchase of a chancery and staff houses for the Zambian mission.

The Court also viewed two helicopters at the ZAF hanger, purchased by Malanji at US$1.4 million and US$700, 000.

Malanji is being prosecuted over the said properties in the Economic and Financial Crimes Court as law enforcement officers suspect they were illegally acquired.

He is jointly charged with Fredson Yamba who is accused of willful failure to follow the law in the management of public funds when he released K154, 201, 197 for the purchase of property in Turkey…https://kalemba.news/court/2024/09/23/court-visits-malanjis-dubious-properties/

  1. Malanji used to boast so much over stolen riches. Let all those who still blindly support lungu consider the fact that malanji was sponsored by his boss lungu who he shared the loot with. Kalaba, saboi, silavwe, kateka and even the not so truthful sikota may do themselves a favour by disassociating from such people as lungu who have no interest in serving the Zambian people but are all about stealing and plundering. I appeal especially to silavwe … please lungu is all about confusion.*With an evil man thou shalt not go*
