CZECH REPUBLIC REFUSES TO ABANDON KYIV DESPITE RUSSIAN THREATS
The Czech Republic will not withdraw its diplomatic mission from Kyiv, its Foreign Ministry has confirmed, dismissing Moscow’s latest warnings as nothing new.
“Our colleagues are currently staying in Kyiv, and we will take possible steps in accordance with internal crisis protocols,” a ministry spokesperson said. Then came the clearest answer to Russia’s intimidation: the Czech ambassador took his usual morning run through a Kyiv park—and intends to continue doing so.
It is a quiet but powerful statement. Russia wants foreign diplomats to see Kyiv as a city they must flee.
The Czech Republic’s response is to remain at its post, follow security procedures and continue the morning routine.
Moscow delivered a threat; Prague answered with a jog through the capital it refuses to abandon.
