DP National Chairperson Nedson Nzowa Defects to PF
After many weeks of speculation, the Democratic Party – DP- Chairperson, Mr. Nedson Nzowa, a former Deputy Minister and Kabushi Constituency Member of Parliament, is finally due to join the ruling party, sources have told KBN TV.
Mr. Nzowa was first rumored to be Kalaba’s running mate but the DP Leader settled for Judith Kabemba, the youthful party Vice President.
Reliable sources have confirmed with KBN TV that Mr. Nzowa, who was also linked with a pending move to UPND, appears to have settled on defecting to the PF.
Sources within DP confirmed that they were not surprised with the party’s National Chairperson’s decision to leave especially after his fruitless attempts to try and convince Harry Kalaba to be running mate to the UPND leader.
Efforts to get a comment from Mr. Nzowa proved futile as his line was off by press time.
