DO NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT ANYTHING – CHIBAMBA KANYAMA

As shared on this platform two years ago, I recall a moment when I desperately needed to get back to UNZA as school was opening; at the time living with three young clinical officers; Zebron Siankanga, Roy Mwilu (now Dr. Mwilu) and Simon Mutonyi. There were no vehicles from Chikankata that day, not even to Mazabuka and also had no money. Had prayed that morning for God’s intervention and waited and waited for divine providence.

At 16.00, heard a strong inner voice to pack my things and get ready; told the colleagues the voice I had heard; Zebron quickly prepared a meal as I took a bath.

No sooner had I finished eating and ready for whatever than we heard a vehicle stop outside; it was another brother, Akushanga Muyenga, then working as Marketing Manager for TAP.
He shouted, ‘How are you brethren? I am not coming out of the car. I am from Mazabuka but when I reached Chikankata Turn Off, God told me to come and see you; I am now proceeding to Lusaka.’ When he heard of my experience, we all worshipped and praised God. By 19.00, I was in my room, Soweto 7:7!

‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God…..,.And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.’ Phil 4:6,19.
