Drone Strikes Oil Vessel in Black Sea as Ukraine Expands Deep-Strike Campaign
Footage shows a drone striking an oil vessel in the Black Sea during a nighttime attack.
The strike was referenced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as part of a series of deep operations against Russian targets.
Zelenskyy said Ukrainian forces also struck a site in Russia’s Oryol region used to launch and store attack drones, as well as an oil facility in the Samara region and a supply depot in the Bryansk region.
The reported operations highlight Ukraine’s continued use of long-range strike capabilities against Russian military, energy and logistics targets far from the front line.
The exact damage caused by the strike on the vessel has not been independently verified.
