ECZ ELATED WITH VIOLENT FREE BY-ELECTIONS RECENTLY HELD IN THE COUNTRY

The Electoral Commission Of Zambia –ECZ- has advised electorates in the country to maintain violent free elections as has been the case in recent by-elections.
ECZ Chief Electoral Officer Patrick Nshindano in an interview with phoenix news is elated that local government by-elections held recently in various parts of the country have been violent free.
Mr. Nshindano says ECZ would like to see to it that the forthcoming elections in Luangwa and others are competitive and violent free saying elections marred by violence discredit the manner of an election.
