ECZ’S 4.3M REGISTERED VOTERS IN THREE WEEKS IS BELOW EITHER 9M TARGET OR 6.67M DISENFRANCHISED OR DEREGISTERED VOTERS OR DELETED REGISTER IN ONE WEEK.

ECZ deleted an inherited register of 6,698,372 that was compiled since 2005 that has seen five elections (2006, 2008, 2011, 2015 and 2016) and four presidents (LPM, RB, MCS and EL twice) about two major updates that is of the five elections, three have been won by PF or three won by PF, two were conducted by PF itself meaning PF has larger share of victories than MMD on that register.

While MMD and PF have two presidents each on the deleted register, EL has won twice while the other three have won once each.

Therefore, how ECZ arrived at the decision to delete the register of six million that favoured PF in order to first disefranchise and then re-register nine million is clear and unsatisfactory to almost stakeholders and voters alike.

Now that ECZ has failed or is failing to reach either target of nine or six million in one week and refused to extend the days of re-registration or combine the register, and still remain unpunishable to retain their jobs is another mystery only gods can explain.
How ECZ will survive tension and conflict it is stoking, only the gods know.
