EDIFY HAMUKALE REJOINS UPND
Former Southern Province Minister in the Patriotic Front (PF) Administration Edify Hamukale, has rejoined the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND) which he left in June 2011.
Mr Hamukale who was PF Southern Province Minister for five years since September 2016, had quit politics completely saying he wanted to concentrate on his profession.
In a statement to Chikuni Radio News, Mr Hamukale says he is rejoining the UPND after pressure and encouragement from different stakeholders who felt he still had value to offer to the country.
He explains that he is rejoining the UPND as an ordinary member to offer whatever he can to the growth of the Party and also make himself available to the political playing field of Zambia.
Mr Hamukale says the republic of Zambia is on an ambitious path to get developed and he believes that the trajectory that the UPND has embarked on is encouraging and so far quite satisfying.
