ESTHER MWAATA KATONGO REVERTS TO HER SUBSTANTIVE RANK.
Former Police Spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo who was promoted to a Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police of lilayi college has been reverted to her substantive rank.
According to the official police communication dubbed “POLICE WIRELESS MESSAGE” and signed by Deputy Inspector GENERAL of Police for Administration Doris Nayame Chibombe, Mrs. Katongo will serve as assistant Commissioner of Police in Lusaka.
Ms. Chibombe has since transferred Mrs. Katongo back to Police Service Headquarters for redeployment.
Meanwhile, Ms. Chibombe has further announced that Police Service Headquarters Director for Administration Mr. Paul Achiume has been transferred to lilayi Police College as he has been appointed to act as Division Commander in place of Dr. Charles Mbita who is scheduled to leave for ABYIE in Sudan for peace keeping mission.
And the Deputy Inspector GENERAL of Police for Administration further announced that Lilayi Police College Assistant Commissioner Betty Timba has been appointed to act as Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police and is further appointed Deputy Division Commander.
