EXPLOSION IN DP WILL BE TOW ORDER TO END IF NOT WELL HANDLED. IT MUST NOT BE A LAUGHING BY THE PARTY HIERARCHY.

The political explosions in the Democratic Party (DP) is unfortunate and must be handled with political maturity and care to avoid a fully-fledged disintegration of the party.

Being the 3rd popular party after PF and UPND based on the 12 August General Election, DP’s political explosion may attract so many political interest groups both internal and external to aid its death.

Whatever the differences, the earlier they are resolved the better for the furtherance of our democracy and the continued existence of the party.

But our political parties’ presidents must learn lessons from each other.

The happenings in DP, where a party president is expelled on account that after all he is not an office bearer, are just a replica of what transpired on NDC where the president was not even a legal office bearer in the party.

What is the fear for them to be party office bearers?

I submit
