FATHER BREAKS HIS TWO MONTHS OLD CHILD’S RIBS IN MARITAL DISPUTE FIGHT
POLICE in Lusaka have arrested a 29 year of man identified as Don Mwenda Musonda of Ibex Hill Meanwood for allegedly assaulting his two months old female child during a marital dispute fight.
Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga says it is alleged that on 30th January, 2022 at around 21 hours, the couple was fighting and in the process the father hit the baby with an elbow who sustained fractured ribs and bruises on her left side of the body.
Mr. Hamoonga says the baby is admitted to Levy Mwanawasa Teaching Hospital receiving treatment whilst the suspect is in police custody.
