FOUR NANGA SECONDARY SCHOOL CADETS DROWN IN POND AS THEY WERE BEING PUNISHED….
Four pupils at Nanga Secondary school in Mazabuka who where undergoing cadet training have drowned in a Nanga farms’ pond.
The pupils failed an assignment and their Instructor allegedly punished the quartet by asking them to swim in the pond.
Byta FM can confirm that four bodies have since been retrieved by a combined team of Police and Fire brigade officers from Mazabuka Municipal Council and some community members.
Police have since arrested the Cadet Instructor who is from the local community.
According to an eye witness, Oster Singwele who is also Nanga Ward Development Committee chairperson, the incidence happened around 16:00 hours, Saturday.
