About gay rights – it’s like this, our children’s children will accept them just like the descendants of slave owners were abhorred by slavery.

Just like people born to parents who found the idea of women suffrage shocking, lived to see women vote.

We now take pride in twins. Our ancestors murdered them at birth.

To people who lose sleep on whether gay relationships will be legal in Zambia, my answer is most probably not soon. What is sure though, is that this generation cannot stop the trajectory towards that happening one day, no matter how much angst we direct to it
