Former defence minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has been hospitalised following the development of his cough which has resulted in him coughing out bloody sputum.
Mwamba said he returned from Kasama over the weekend, and upon arrival he developed a cough, saying as the cough has developed, his sputum is coming out bloody.
“I thought it was normal and would stop but I realised that it was not stopping and decided to go to the hospital where I am currently hospitalised. The doctors are yet to diagnose what the exact problem is as they are still doing further tests to see what the problem is,” said Mwamba to Daily Revelation.
He said on account of the same he could not attend court today.
