The ruling Patriotic Front (PF) National Vice Chairperson for Mobilisation Hon Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba says people who are joining the party from UPND will massively contribute to the party’s victory on August 12, 2021.
Hon Mwamba assured the party membership that the new members he has been receiving on behalf of the party are genuine.
He told Smart Eagles, the new members must be embraced by everyone and be engaged in party activities ahead of this years elections.
Hon Mwamba says those who are joining the party have been attracted by the good leadership of His Excellency President Dr Edgar Changwa Lungu and other party leaders.
“These people who have joined our might Patriotic Front were real UPND members but they have realised that their former party has no quality leadership hence coming to join us,” he says.
“These people need to be welcomed with all our hands. Winning an election is about numbers and these people will play a critical role in this year’s election.
“And this is not the end we are still on the ground to ensure that more come to the party,” Hon Mwamba says.
