GLOBAL PRESIDENT OF THE SDA EXPECTED IN ZAMBIA

The Global President of the Seventh Day Adventist –SDA-Church, Dr. Ted Wilson is expected in Zambia for a week-long visit this month.
Announcing the development at a media briefing in Lusaka this morning, SDA Southern Zambia Union Conference President, Dr. Vanny Munyumbwe who also spoke on behalf of the SDA Northern Zambia Union Conference said Dr. Wilson arrives in zamia on Friday, January 27th.
Dr. Munyumbwe explained that the aim of the visit by the president of the general conference of the church is to familiarize himself with the operations of the SDA in Zambia and will take time to inspect the church infrastructure in Lusaka, Copperbelt, Central, Southern and Western provinces.
He said on January 31st, Dr. Wilson will pay a courtesy call on republican President Hakainde Hichilema at State House and will on 4th February join church members at Heroes Stadium for a worship service, where president Hichilema will also be in attendance.
