I would have said more things if Edgar Lungu had done what Hakainde Hichilema has done which is deceiving the nation by pretending to graciously ask the withdrawal of the constitutional amendment bill in Parliament, when in reality, he only did so because he knew the Constitutional Court was about to nullify his process (which had ignored leading civil society organizations, church bodies, and the legal fraternity in Zambia.
If it was Edgar Lungu doing what Hakainde has done, I would have called him out as a spineless leader lacking discernment.
We love Hakainde Hichilema as people who voted for him, but the man is excessively deceptive. Not long ago, he claimed he never cancelled national mourning but merely “extended” it, when in truth, he had announced the termination of national mourning to allow “normalcy to prevail,” stating that the family of former President Edgar Lungu (ECL) could proceed with funeral arrangements as they wished.
Then, on the day of the burial—when the widow and children were fully prepared to lay their husband and father to rest—Hichilema committed one of the most shocking and culturally insensitive acts of deception: dragging the grieving widow and children to court in South Africa to halt the burial. What kind of sensible leader does such a thing?
We love and support Hakainde Hichilema, but he is dragging the nation into disgrace. He must reflect on his actions; otherwise, even his staunch supporters will find it difficult to blindly follow and defend his deceptive and insensitive behaviours

Laura stop crying and offer your support
Don’t fall into the problem called “halo effect”, that is, to judge something or someone solely on one prominent feature to the exclusion of other features which may be recessive but are no less important in making a fair determination. I think HH’s government’s spending of public money is perhaps the best we have seen in long time. I’m not saying it’s perfect because construction experts in local authorities are just not rising to the occasion. In Kasama, for example, they couldn’t even supervise the construction of a small ablution block at a local school but its mayor Mathilda Kolala still has the cheek to criticise the government.
Only Hakainde’s relatives and tribesmen think he is doing a good job. As a country, we have wasted 5 years having this deceptive failure as president. He prefers touching dead bodies to fixing the economy.
REJECT TRIBALISM, CORRUPTION AND OPPRESSION.
VOTE FOR CHANGE IN 2026.
From Tanzania/Congo getting contracts in Zambia and pretending to be Zambian,Never again, keep on crying we know we you.
You have no shame using a Bemba name. Are you not proud of your true origins? I am Bemba, and very proud. I can never fake my identity of origin to try and mislead anyone. But you and your people are the only ones that do that in Zambia, why? I really would like to know. Maybe you wish you were Bemba? Nothing wrong with being yourself. No one will judge you harshly. We are one country bosses.
VOTE FOR CHANGE IN 2026.
VOTE FOR CHANGE IN 2026.
So you are not a just a tribalist but you are also a liar. Sometime back you claimed to be an easterner but today you are claiming to be bemba, which one is it? Just because you have a short memory does not mean everyone is the same.
Gunner wake up. How can you explain a contract to supply Zesco poles in Kasama being awarded to a guy from Choma and a UPND cadre ? UPND is no different from PF and UPND is even worse because HH has now established businesses in every province to woodwink people like you Gunner into thinking HH is giving businesses to local people when infact those local companies are linked to him in one way or the other. We need sober leadership in 2026 and unfortunately HH has proved the opposite. The sad thing about HH and that’s why he will pay a heavy price next year is that he thinks he is the only person in Zambia who understands everything. He came into power with great and wonderful promises some of them had specific times of delivery. What are we seeing today, people are oppressed they can’t speak freely for fear of being arrested through the cyber law. People are suffering, the price of mealie meal is high and he expects Zambians to give him another chance? Really Zambians are hungry for development especially the promised deliverables. So wake up gunner. Ask the youths on the Copperbelt what HH promised them when he was in the opposition and check what he has delivered. Some of them have dropped into depression because they gave all to HH when he was in the opposition only to be sidelined when he won the elections. That is barbaric guys.
Sorry, I cannot speak for Zesco on any issue, including its purchasing decisions. I have no way of fact-checking the poles supply contract which you have cited. Zesco Kasama office is not an independent company. Its purchasing decisions are surely made in Lusaka or need a nod from Lusaka. I do not see how HH comes into it because if he was to be the one to make purchasing decisions of state-owned enterprises, nothing would move. But I accept that HH occupies an office where he is blamed for everything, just like all his predecessors.
You Pakomaila Nondo are telling us lies and bullshit. That Kasama business nonsense is just a figment of your own imagination and total rubbish. I am working for ZESCO and I know that Kasama has not needed any poles for 4 years and there has not been any contract signed for the supply of poles since 2018. So which contract are you talking about? You are talking about what you PF plunderers used to do when you were in power. Dream on you loser, UPND is doing a fantastic job and will stay in power for more than 20 years.
PF is irrelevant and with all the looting and hooliganism you are known for, nobody misses you and no one will vote for you.

I have been to her page and this article is not there. So it is fabricated.
Chiko, it’s Laura. That’s her language. Why are you scared? If facts are laid bare let it be so. Deception is Deception as exhibited by munshilumbulwa.
