HAKAINDE HICHILEMA SUFFERS ANOTHER BILLBOARD LOSS
Jealous people have done it again… this time around it is at Chanda Musonda station. Hakainde Hichilema Billboard has been destroyed
Without fear or favour we are condeming such acts of vandalism and hooliganism. Let us have respect for one another and also show the willingness to be tolerant in the political sphere.
There are quite a number of lessons which can be learnt from this. One of them being that others take the law in their own hands knowing fully well that they will go unscathed.
One thing which is certain like the way the sun rises from the East and sets in the West is that such perpetrators are by no means going to be brought to book.
Let’s not talk about the issue of surveillance cameras which are dotted around the streets of Lusaka because if we do, we might be misquoted but then why should we just keep quite when it is clear enough that those surveillance systems don’t seem to work on such occasions… anyways this is a story for another day.
Barely a week after Hakainde Hichilema’s Billboard was destroyed near heroes stadium, the lawlessness continues to occur. What leaves so much to be desired is the aftermath of such incidences. But like UPND leader said, you might burn their Billboards but you’ll never burn people’s voter’s cards.
