The President writes…
We were delighted to welcome to State House this morning the Israeli Ambassador to Zambia, Her Excellency Ms Ofra Farhi, with whom we held productive discussions on a wide range of issues. Zambia greatly values our ever deepening relationship with the State of Israel, based on cooperation, mutual trust and win-win partnerships.
We expressed our admiration for Israel’s technological advancement, in particular in health, water and agriculture, and conveyed our interest in leveraging these technologies in order to create jobs and increase living standards across the country.
We also thanked Israel for the student exchange programme which is helping us build capacity and management in key areas, which will ultimately lead to higher production that will boost investment and trade opportunities.
