President Hakainde Hichilema has expressed shock at what he has discovered in the past two months as Republican President.
He has disclosed that the country has been losing a lot of money through procurement of expired drugs, payment of one invoice twice among other anomalies.
The President says all these shortfalls must come to an end.

He was speaking at State House when he swore in Attorney General, Mulilo Kabesha, Solicitor General, Marshal Muchende, Secretary to the Treasury, Felix Nkulukusa and Bank of Zambia Governor, Dr. Denny Kalyalya.
He says legal opinion was rendered to government which worked against the people and as such the appointed should advise government to use finances prudently and for the good of the people.

And President Hichilema says the four people sworn in are competent and believes they will turn around the economy to the people’s expectation and will advise government on the lacunas in the constitution.
The quartet were yesterday ratified by parliament.
