PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has tasked five ministers to institute a survey in Luapula Province to establish interventions which can be implemented for the utilisation of water resources in the province.
The head of State has tasked Luapula Province Minister, Minister of Fisheries and Livestock, Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Energy and Minister of Water Development and Sanitation, saying two helicopters will be released for the survey.
President Hichilema said given the water resources and the depletion of fish in the natural water bodies, plans should also include putting up fish cages on Lake Mweru wa Ntipa and other water bodies.
