HH will rule for one term – Nawakwi
FDD president Edith Nawakwi has charged that President Hakainde Hichilema will only rule for one term.
Nawakwi accused Hichilema of winning the August elections because of fake promises.
Reacting to victory by PF in Kaumbwe and Lusangazi, she said the results are true reflection of August 12, 2021 generalelections.
Nawakwi said what transpired at Presidential level was a pure fraud.
She said the President Hichilema should be ready to vacate State House come 2026.
“Presidential elections were not genuine. We saw people from Southern Province manipulating results under the trees.
The UPND are now scared that they will be voted out of office on August 12, 2026.
“They won elections because of lies but people have realised that they can no longer be cheated, this is why they have lost these by elections,” she said.
Nawakwi said” Thank you to the campaign team comprising of Hon Given Lubinda and Rapheal Nakachinda for working hard to earn a victory.
Nawakwi said President Hichilema must know that he is leading a dwindling political party.
