PF Presidential candidate Makebi Zulu says he does not hold the monopoly of intelligence and wisdom for him to insist on being the only Presidential candidate adding that, he is willing to play a role other than standing, in order to create a strong opposition force.
Makebi says he is willing to step down and fully support any other leader if the opposition can come together and choose another genuine person.
Meanwhile, Fred M’membe has also indicated that he is willing to step aside and support another person. Chishimba Kambwili has said the same.

After the Kasama results, there is a feeling of dysphoria among some people in the Opposition that if the UPND can win in a PF stronghold, especially in Kasama, then there is no hope for them come August 2026. The needful thing is to throw in the towel rather than getting humiliated.

MAKEBI cannot be trusted, he is talking unity while being endorsed by NCP away from his home which is PF, what unity is he talking about, if he wanted Unity, he should have stuck with the original grouping. Let August teach some of these guys order
The desire to just remove HH and UPND from power is senseless.What is important is to identify the failures of UPND government and tell the people how you would change or work better, pin pointing important matters that may interest the people.The idea of just to change government is not what people are interested in.You the opposition have lost direction,instead of talking about solutions to economic challenges which you think the UPND have failed to attend to, you behave like broiler chickens struggling for little feed in the feeders showing high appetite for power.You spent too much time on falsehoods, misleading statements, innuendos and tribal sentiments and hate.Look at the time you have wasted on matters that are baseless.To make the matters worse you fail to follow funeral traditions and you bring complicated theories fail to bury our departed late President and you think that is right.You have shown us that you are irresponsible.HH showed the love for the nation by solving hunger amid fierce drought situation that caused serious effects on energy prompting undesirable load shading.He embarked on other energy sources like solar to mitigate the energy challenges.He has improved the agriculture sector, education,mining, and increased investments too numerous to count.The election issues are just democratic processes to be followed in order to fulfill the expected procedure otherwise the UPND and President HH is the perfect choice for good governance and prosperity.
