RELIGIOUS dramatist operating under the stage name Prophet Ian Genesis has begged to be left alone saying he did not predict anything concerning the death of former president Rupiah Banda.
Back in August, the pentecostal Papa whose real name is Ian Chipoka was engulfed by massive shame when his predication of an Edgar Lungu-victory proved hugely false.
To avoid embarrassment this time around, Chipoka has chosen to abscond from pulpit guesswork.
Chipoka took to his Facebook page swearing to have never made any prediction on the death of fourth republican president Rupiah Banda whose demise last Friday has inspired a seven-day mourning period.
He wrote; “I didn’t give any prophecy connected to former president Banda. leave me alone”.
Banda became of Zambia in 2008 after winning a presidential by-election that was occasioned by the death of president Levy Mwanawasa.
His presidency ended in 2011 after losing to Patriotic Front candidate Michael Sata.
